If you are an experienced HR practitioner with strong experience of supporting people strategies to align new businesses through mergers and acquisitions, then our client is seeking your support.
You will work alongside the Project Manager and corporate HR Business Partner to align the people strategies to the overall business objectives, ensuring HR integration through effective communication, collaboration, and implementation of systems, policies, processes and procedures.
You will act as the HR Business Partner to the newly acquired organisation, supporting the following projects:
- Ensuring the integration of policies, processes and procedures
- Coaching and developing line management and Executive throughout change management and organisational transition
- Stakeholder engagement through effective communication and collaboration
- Review and development of organisational design and position descriptions
- Supporting workforce planning and analysis, engagement and retention strategies
- Providing review, recommendations and implementing strategies to mitigate any risks
- Ensuring compliance with corporate governance and employment legislation
- Supporting systems migration and implementation
- Managing the communication of vision, values and longer-term strategies
- Ad hoc projects to support the transition project
This is an opportunity that will be offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract in the first instance. You will be a qualified HR practitioner with strong executive and senior leadership engagement skills, and a consolidated background in change, mergers and acquisition. It would be preferred that you possess experience of working within medium to large-sized organisations with exposure to both blue and white collar workforces. It is a pre-requisite that you possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards and that you currently reside in WA as an immediate start is required.
Interstate travel will be required a couple of times per year with travel up to a week's duration.
