An exciting position to work for a global defence company based in Essendon Field. You will be working for an innovative company operating in the defence domain. Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the receipt, evaluation and management of customer requests. The role is responsible for selecting the best logistics solution for the supply of spare parts, claim evaluation and support and repair solutions. The role is also responsible for coordinating and monitoring all activities from order receipt to final delivery within Customer and Company deadlines.

• Management of the customer orders and quotation cycle for both spare parts and repair services
• Cooperation with Material Management & Planning to implement an effective way of operation
• Management of the orders processing to meet the budget, ensuring full compliance with the commitments, highlighting any deviation between the budget and orders fulfilment.
• Management of Consignment Stock (consumption, deliveries, replenishment, inventories)
• Assisting customers with determining spare parts

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a logistics position
• Hold Australian Citizenship to work in Australia or equivalent
• ERP systems understanding
• Able to work under pressure and in a high-demanding environment to meet customer deadlines
• Basic understanding of financial transactions (invoicing) and instruments - desirable
• Basic understanding of transportation, shipping and exporting
