Your new company
This is your opportunity to join a nationally recognised organisation that’s redefining how communities connect through events, markets, and precinct activations. With a portfolio that includes some of Queensland’s most iconic lifestyle destinations, this team is known for its creativity, professionalism, and impact. Their work brings together small businesses, local councils, and tens of thousands of weekly visitors — and they’re just getting started.
Your new role
As Events Marketing Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind campaigns that spark curiosity, drive attendance, and build brand love. You’ll lead the marketing strategy for major events, market launches, and precinct activations — from concept to execution. Working closely with a collaborative internal team and external partners, you’ll bring bold ideas to life across digital, print, media and experiential channels.
This role suits someone who’s equal parts creative and commercial — someone who’s launched campaigns, built buzz, and knows how to turn a weekend activation into a sold-out success. You’ll be hands-on, strategic, and ready to jump in where needed — including the occasional weekend event (think food trucks, live music, and dogs in sunglasses).
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience in event marketing, brand management or integrated campaigns
- Proven ability to deliver multi-channel campaigns with measurable ROI
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills — from councils to creatives
- Excellent communication and project management abilities
- A creative mindset with commercial sensibility
- Experience managing budgets, suppliers, and campaign timelines
- Bonus points for precinct, festival or placemaking experience
What you'll get in return
This is more than just a marketing role — it’s a chance to shape experiences that bring joy to thousands every week. You’ll be part of a passionate, creative team that values bold thinking, collaboration, and real-world impact. Expect variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work on projects that genuinely make a difference in the community.
You’ll also enjoy:
- A dynamic and creative work environment where no two days are the same
- The chance to lead campaigns for high-profile events and precincts
- A supportive team culture with room to grow and innovate
- Exposure to a wide network of stakeholders across events, media, and government
- The satisfaction of seeing your work come to life — and watching people enjoy it
