Your new role
You will support the Marketing and Communications team across day‑to‑day operations and campaigns.
The role covers content writing, social media, media support, events, and administration.
Your work will support public programs, community initiatives, and organisational priorities.
Key duties include:
Writing content for web, social, media releases, reports, and correspondence.
Supporting integrated marketing and communication campaigns.
Coordinating media placements and responding to enquiries.
Managing brand assets and marketing collateral.
Providing admin and project support to the team.
Supporting events with on‑site social and community engagement.
Assisting with reporting, budgets, and internal processes.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualification in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or similar.
Experience in a marketing or communications role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing social media and reviewing performance data.
High attention to detail and strong time management.
Ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
Local government experience is an advantage.
