Your new role

Join a dynamic team in a time-sensitive role focused on developing our risk management framework. You'll evaluate risk management across the organisation, revise policies, and scope software options to enhance our processes. As a start-up aiming to build risk management maturity, we need a knowledgeable and experienced candidate in the education sector. You'll be accountable to senior executives and the board, working under significant pressure to meet tight deadlines. We're looking for a proactive, hands-on individual ready to make an impact.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in Law, Business/Commerce, and/or Risk Management

  • Strong understanding of school risk and compliance management frameworks, practices, and reporting systems

  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory obligations

  • Experience operating the CompliSpace platform (an asset)

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Understanding of, and commitment to, the values of the Catholic educational system.

  • Commitment to the ongoing and proactive protection and safeguarding of children, young people, and adults at risk of abuse
