Your new role
As the Manager Asset Lifecycle, you will lead a team responsible for lifecycle planning across electricity network assets. You’ll oversee investment, maintenance, renewal, and end-of-life strategies to ensure decisions are data-driven, risk-informed, and aligned with organisational objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development of asset class plans, maintenance frameworks, and repex forecasting.
- Coaching and mentoring a team of engineers and specialists.
- Governing asset management frameworks including risk, health, and defect classification.
- Supporting operational asset management including failure investigations and performance improvement.
- Acting as a key interface across planning, delivery, regulatory, and commercial teams.
- Contributing to regulatory submissions and business planning through robust forecasting.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
- ACT Professional Engineering Registration (or ability to obtain).
- Proven experience in electricity network asset management.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Expertise in risk analysis, financial modelling, and asset strategy development.
- Familiarity with ISO55000, ISO31000, and RCM principles (desirable).
