Your new role

In this role, you’ll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while leading and developing a team of accountants. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering high‑level tax and business advisory services, while also playing a key role in shaping culture, performance, and growth within the firm.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of business services clients
  • Act as the primary contact and trusted advisor to clients
  • Review financial statements, tax returns and compliance work
  • Deliver high-level tax and business advisory across a range of industries
  • Identify opportunities to add value and expand client relationships
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of accountants
  • Oversee workflow, WIP management, billing and deadlines
  • Drive quality, performance and a positive team culture

What you'll need to succeed

  • Full Australian working rights
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in public practice accounting
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and reviewing work
  • Strong technical expertise across Australian tax, CGT, GST, FBT and Division 7A
  • Confident communicator with strong advisory capability
  • Leadership experience, or ready to take the next step
  • Experience with Xero and strong Excel skills
  • Proactive, solution‑focused and client‑oriented mindset
