A government organisation in Perth CBD are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join the team. This role is being offered on an initial 6-month temporary contract, paying a competitive hourly rate.

Your new role

• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to provide insight into financial performance
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts to assist in planning future financial activities
• Conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Management of financial accounts to support decision-making and strategic planning
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations to minimise financial risks

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered, you will need:

• Previous experience as a financial accountant
• A recognised tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or related field
• A recognised certificate in accounting
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency with various accounting and financial systems, ideally with experience using Oracle 11a
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
