Your new company

Our for-purpose client located close to the CBD requires a Management Accountant in to start ASAP, for an initial expected 6 months duration. This is a parental leave cover position and there is a possibility for extension, however that can not be guaranteed at this stage.

Your new role

Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for;

- Performing management accounting, reporting, budgeting, reconciliations and compliance related tasks
- Produce timely management information reports on a monthly basis
- Variance analysis on budgets and providing meaningful commentary
- Assist with cash flow forecasts
- Manage monthly financial close
- Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders
- Balance sheet account reconciliations and preparing month-end journals
- Ad hoc accounting tasks as required

What you'll need to succeed

- Hold a full accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent)

- Strong experience as a Management Accountant

- Be a team player and support team members as and when required
- Availability to start within the next 10 days
- Ability to quickly pick up new processes and add value
- Excellent communication skills
- Possess highly developed Excel skills
