An exciting opportunity to join a Global Defence Business based in Eastern Brisbane. This is a full-time contracting position, providing WFH with long-term career growth with a rapidly expanding business. The ideal candidate will need previous Maintenance Planning experience, ideally in a manufacturing-style environment with the ability to obtain NV1 clearance. (Australian Citizen)

Your new role

This opportunity will predominantly drive your career growth within defence. You will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and overseeing various projects within our organisation. You are responsible for planning resource allocation and levelling to ensure successful delivery of contractual commitments within the capability. As well as supporting the Planning Lead in co-ordinating all scheduling activities at their allocated Service Centre & Maintenance workgroups to ensure Maintenance Work Orders are completed within budget and schedule

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively developing customer relationships
  • Making efforts to listen to and understand the customer (both internal and external)
  • Anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs
  • Reviewing and reporting on the feedback and problems encountered during maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities
  • Seeking continuous progressive improvement and proposing the use of innovative solutions in all areas of work
  • Assisting the Planning Lead in forecasting schedule performance and contributing to performance reports

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in maintenance planning/scheduling, or equivalent technical qualification to enable some autonomy or independence in identifying solutions (vehicle)
  • Supply chain business principles and procedures
  • Broad Knowledge of MRP II planning systems, ERP or SAP 4HANA
  • A high level of interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
  • Very good knowledge and experience of standard computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Defence, automotive or FMCG maintenance planning background encourage to apply.
