Your new role

• Carry out general building and property maintenance, including a wide range of handyman tasks, as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, to ensure School facilities are maintained to a high standard.
• Assist contractors and service providers on site and provide support to other trades personnel—including builders, plumbers, and electricians—when required.
• Follow all Safe Work Method Statements and maintain strong housekeeping practices to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
• Support day‑to‑day operational needs across the school, such as office relocations, event and function setup, and furniture movement.
• Tasks may include hanging doors, installing playground equipment, completing general handyman duties, and carrying out a range of basic carpentry work.
• Working collaboratively and as part of a team, maintaining all parts of campus

What you'll need to succeed

• Trade qualification mandatory – Carpentry
• Demonstrated experience in building and fixture maintenance, with some exposure to construction work
• Safeguarding children online training certificate
• Manual drivers licence; an LR licence or higher is desirable
• Successful applicant will need to complete ‘Working with children check and criminal records check’
