I am currently recruiting for multiple age care providers and private schools across the Sydney region who are looking for casual maintenance staff. In all of these roles, you will be joining the facilities & maintenance team and ensuring the facility is kept to a high standard and each of these sites is static with parking on site.

Your new role

You will be joining as a Maintenance Officer doing a variety of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks as required. Your general responsibilities will be as follows :

• Painting/patching
• Basic plumbing work such as leaking taps, blockages or changing seals.
• Basic carpentry work
• Fixing door handles
• Changing light globes
• Event set-ups and manual handling
• Coordinating contractors on site.

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to pass a Working with Children's Check
• Ability to pass a police check
• Strong communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
• Basic computer skills
• Previous maintenance experience or something similar

What you'll get in return

You'll get the opportunity for an ongoing position and work on fantastic sites where no day will be the same. You will be working a 38-hour week and at a high-end static site, where all tools are provided.
