Seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for a well-established food manufacturing client in Western Sydney.
Our client is a respected and growing food production business with a strong presence in the Australian market. Operating under strict food safety and quality standards, they supply major retailers and food service providers nationwide. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team in a stable, long-term role.
Your new role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of production equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role requires a hands-on technician with strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on food processing and packaging machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults
- Assist with equipment upgrades and installations
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
- Ensure compliance with WHS and food safety standards
- Work collaboratively with production and quality teams
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade qualified in Mechanical or Electrical (Cert III or higher)
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG preferred
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work from Monday to Saturday
- Comfortable with early starts – 5:00am to 3:00pm day shift
