Maintenance Fitter – Full-Time | Sydney
Are you a hands-on maintenance fitter looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced, high-precision environment? We’re partnering with a leading engineering team to find a skilled professional who thrives on autonomy, problem-solving, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and infrastructure across multiple sites. This is a varied role that includes mechanical problem-solving, light fabrication, liaising with subcontractors, and contributing to production improvements.

Work Pattern:

Monday to Friday, day shift: 7:00am–3:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm
One Saturday every 5 weeks (overtime rates apply)



Your new role

  • Perform repairs and replacements across all facilities
  • Conduct light steel and stainless-steel fabrication, including welding
  • Maintain scrubbers, forklifts, and other machinery
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support automation upgrades
  • Liaise with subcontractors and escort them on-site
  • Manage plastic piping repairs and replacements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Assist with stock movement and purchasing of components
  • Work independently on scheduled maintenance projects


What you'll need to succeed

  • Trade qualifications in Fitting & Machining or similar mechanical qualification
  • Proven experience in maintenance roles
  • Forklift license (essential)
  • Plumbing and basic electrical fitting knowledge (desirable)
  • Strong time management and adaptability
  • WHS awareness and a proactive attitude
