Your new role

Reporting to the supervisor and team leader, this position involves diagnosing and repairing manufacturing machinery, undertaking maintenance preventative programs across truck plant. You may also be required to repair tools, set up machines, undertake fabrication and welding, repair office equipment or coordinate service contractors for repairs. Your role will be varied and require you to be adaptable each day, depending on work requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Australian recognised trade fitter qualification
• Experience working in a similar position as a maintenance fitter
• Proficient fault-finding skills
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
• Electrical and control system experience
• Able to work independently as well as in a team when required
• Good time management skills, communication and interpersonal skills
