Your new role
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join this innovative team. This role involves providing breakdown support and preventative maintenance of plant and equipment, ensuring safety and maximising production. You'll work closely with the engineering team to implement maintenance strategies, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide expertise to various departments. Some of the role will include but not limited to:

• Install and maintain electrical systems.
• Implement plant maintenance and improvement strategies.
• Fault find and troubleshoot to limit downtime.
• Serve as the first point of call for technical issues.
• Provide technical expertise to various departments.

What you'll need to succeed

• A Grade Electrical Licence.
• Experience with PLC systems (Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens).
• Minimum 3+ years experience working within the FMCG manufacturing industry
• Expertise in electrical installation, fault-finding, and diagnosis of plant equipment.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, vacuum, packaging equipment, and poultry husbandry systems is advantageous.
• Commitment to maintenance planning and continuous improvement
• Sound mechanical knowledge to support breakdowns and preventative maintenance.
• Excellent computer and communication skills.
• Hands-on attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work autonomously.
