We are partnering with a well‑established organisation operating critical industrial assets across metropolitan Adelaide to recruit an Electrician to join a supportive, safety‑focused maintenance team.
This role is well suited to a qualified Electrician looking to build experience in an industrial setting, working with a variety of plant, equipment and control systems, with training and support provided.
Your new role
Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, you will support the safe and reliable operation of site infrastructure and equipment. Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will be involved in a mix of planned and reactive maintenance activities across multiple operational sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with planned and breakdown electrical maintenance on plant and equipment
- Supporting fault‑finding and troubleshooting activities, with guidance from senior electricians
- Completing maintenance tasks in line with work plans, safety procedures and timeframes
- Recording work completed and maintenance information accurately and on time
- Working collaboratively with mechanical, operations and maintenance teams
- Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and site contacts
- Ensuring all work complies with Australian Standards, legislation and company policies
- Actively contributing to a strong safety culture and reporting hazards or near misses
- Participating in an on‑call or after‑hours roster once trained and competent
What you’ll need to succeed
We are open to candidates who may still be developing their industrial experience. Ideally, you will bring:
- A relevant Electrical Trade Certificate and current Electrical Licence
- Some experience in an industrial, manufacturing, utilities or infrastructure environment (desirable, not essential)
- A willingness to learn new systems, equipment and processes
- Basic experience with electrical fault‑finding and control systems (training provided)
- An interest in industrial automation or PLCs (exposure advantageous but not required)
- A current unrestricted driver’s licence
- Good communication skills and a proactive, team‑focused attitude
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and following procedures
