LV Mechanic

Looking for an experienced LV Mechanic to commence ASAP in Moranbah! RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAIL!

Our client is a family-owned business renowned for its comprehensive automotive services in Central Queensland and the Bowen Basin Region. They pride themselves on exceptional customer service, providing conveniences like complimentary vehicle washes and pick-up/delivery services. Our client has even earned multiple industry awards, reflecting its commitment to quality and community support. They are currently looking for a Mechanic to join their team.

Your new role

  • Test-driving vehicles to locate and identify faults as described by the client
  • Testing, repairing, and servicing cars, including replacing worn or damaged parts
  • Performing routine services such as oil changes and engine tune-ups
  • Filling in service logbooks accordingly
  • Carrying out diagnostic procedures to identify issues
  • Performing safety checks on vehicles
  • Recording service or repair details for invoicing purposes

What you'll need to succeed

  • Trade Qualified – LV Mechanic
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Working Rights in Australia
  • Post-trade experience
  • Living locally in Moranbah or be willing to relocate
  • Contactable references

What you'll get in return

Upon successful application, you will join our esteemed client in a full-time position. If you are not living locally in Moranbah, accommodation can be provided for you and your family to move into with a discounted rent. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate whilst working on a family-friendly Monday – Friday roster.
