Your new role

They are looking for a highly experienced Senior Linux System Administrator with strong automation and VMware expertise to help manage and modernise a large‑scale enterprise infrastructure. This role focuses heavily on patching automation, operational reliability, and infrastructure standardisation using Ansible.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience administering Linux (RHEL / CentOS) in enterprise environments
• Strong hands‑on experience with Ansible automation, including Ansible Tower / AWX
• Solid knowledge of VMware vSphere / ESXi (7.x / 8.x)
• Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
• Experience with Linux patching tools and processes (YUM/DNF, Red Hat Satellite)
• Understanding of networking and storage concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, SAN, LVM)
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automation tooling such as Git, GitLab, or Jenkins
