A growing Managed Service Provider based in Ballarat requires a Level 2/3 Support Engineer to join its team for a permanent opportunity, commencing in August 2025. Your new role
Within this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:
- Providing 2nd & 3rd level onsite & remote support for a large client base.
- Supporting a broad range of clients to resolve high-level IT issues escalated within the Service Desk.
- Performing technical support of servers, network and hardware.
- Assisting with the delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Delivering a high level of customer service and communication.
- Maintaining relationships with clients.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in providing level 2 IT support in a user-facing role.
- Sound knowledge of Windows / macOS, Active Directory, Windows Server, Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Veeam, TeamViewer, Intune, VMware / Hyper-V and Network troubleshooting.
- Prior experience with Syncro RMM is highly advantageous.
- Highly developed troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as Azure and Microsoft certifications are beneficial.
- Experience working within a Managed Service Provider or Consultancy.
- Access to a car and a valid driver’s license.
