Your new role
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will lead a high performing team, while being very hands-on in working with senior leadership-in investigating conduct matters and advising on partnership and complex employment-related matters. Some of your duties include but are not limited to:
- Support strong and trusted relationships with internal clients and governance bodies
- Provide trusted and sensible advice on employee relations and conduct related matters and investigations
- Assist with the review, legal analysis and preparation of advice to their business clients on a variety of matters while working closely with the organisations' people & Culture, Partner Affairs Office and compliance teams.
- Provide focused and pragmatic solutions to address legal risk and business problems
What you'll need to succeed
Admitted to practice as a lawyer in Australia.
Ideally, a minimum of 14 years PAE, with experience gained in a reputable mid/top tier firm and/or similar large corporation.
Experience and excellence in the field of advising on employment and partnership matters is essential.
Previous people leadership experience.
You have experience in engaging and collaborating with senior management.
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
You can identify and consider critical issues and assess and articulate legal risks.
