A well-established and respected residential builder is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join their delivery team on a high-quality residential project based in Brisbane Southside. This opportunity would suit a hands-on construction professional who enjoys leading by example and working closely with site management to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard.

Your new role

• Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and labour on site
• Assisting with day-to-day site operations and program delivery
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety compliance
• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Liaising with the Site Supervisor to resolve issues and keep works on track
• Ensuring site cleanliness, organisation and adherence to WHS requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Leading Hand within residential construction
• Strong knowledge of residential building practices and sequencing
• Ability to lead trades and labour in a hands-on capacity
• White Card (essential)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
• Commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
