Your new role
As Leading Hand – Mowing, you’ll oversee a small crew responsible for mowing and maintaining council reserves, parks, and open spaces. You’ll coordinate daily tasks, operate machinery, ensure safety standards are met, and support the team in delivering efficient and high-quality outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in mowing operations and leading small teams
- Sound knowledge of turf maintenance and horticultural practices
- Ability to operate and maintain mowing equipment (e.g. ride-on mowers, brush cutters)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Current WA Driving Licence (HR preferred)
- White Card and relevant tickets (Chainsaw, Chemical Handling, etc.) desirable.
