Your new role

As Lead Consultant Health Physicist, you’ll be responsible for delivering comprehensive radiation protection services across high-impact projects. Working closely with technical and operational teams, you’ll lead site operations, develop safety systems, and ensure training and compliance meet the highest standards.
  • Oversee field-based radiation protection services including survey, clearance, transport, and licencing.
  • Manage project planning, financial performance, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
  • Implement safety systems (SWEMS), maintain workplace health standards, and lead radiation training programs.
  • Influence project resourcing and commercial performance to align with strategic objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to drive operational success.


What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in science or a relevant discipline, with extensive field experience in radiation protection.
  • Recognition as a Radiation Protection Advisor (RPA) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex operational projects within regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of WHS, source licencing, training compliance, and safety governance.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
