Your new company

This Australian business has been operating for over 75 years across Australia and specialises in concrete and asphalt products. Due to a team member moving on into a new position, they are seeking a lab tech to backfill a now vacant spot in their Canberra team.

Your new role

As a Lab Tech, you’ll be required to:

• Drive the company vehicle out to sites to collect aggregate for testing

• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment

• Generate and report test results

• Ensure that record keeping is accurate

• Assist the technical team when required

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• A Certificate in IV in Laboratory Techniques is highly regarded

• A current driver's license is essential

• A valid White Card, Asbestos Awareness card and Silica Awareness ticket is essential

• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required
