Your new role

As an IVVQ Engineer, you will be responsible for integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities across communication systems within a major rail project. This is a site‑based role requiring flexibility to work outside standard hours, including some weekends, as the project moves through intensive testing and commissioning phases. You’ll assemble and test system components, ensure compliance with requirements, and provide support through acceptance and handover. Collaboration with engineering teams will be central, and you may also oversee site workers during installation and testing.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll bring proven experience in IVVQ activities and a background in rail environments. Strong knowledge of communication systems, particularly Public Address (PAS) subsystems, will be highly regarded, though related experience in areas such as CCTV systems may also be considered. You’ll need to demonstrate adaptability in demanding site conditions, the ability to deliver under tight schedules, and a solid grasp of testing methodologies. A White Card for site access is essential, and prior exposure to large‑scale transport or infrastructure projects will be advantageous.
