Your new role
This is a senior, hands‑on IT support role based within a distribution centre environment, with responsibility for providing end‑to‑end BAU IT support, backfilling a senior team member, and acting as a trusted on‑site technical lead.
You will support daily warehouse operations by delivering responsive, people‑facing IT services across EUC, printers, mobility devices, and core on‑site infrastructure. Working as part of a statewide DC technology team, you will manage incidents and changes, partner closely with site stakeholders, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system stability, safety, and performance.
This role requires a strong balance of technical capability, customer service, and on‑site presence, with flexibility to operate across multiple DC locations as required.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience providing hands‑on IT support within warehouse or distribution centre environments
Strong BAU support capability, including incident, change, and ticket management (ServiceNow or ITIL‑aligned environments)
Solid troubleshooting experience across:Printers (including rollouts and maintenance), laptops, mobility devices, and end-user hardware
Experience delivering LCM rollouts, patching, and hardware refresh programs
Exposure to Google‑based environments, with familiarity or transition experience toward Microsoft / Azure
Basic network troubleshooting skills, including triaging local device versus network issues and working with managed service providers
Experience monitoring and responding to infrastructure alerts (e.g. UPS)
Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer‑facing skills in operational environments
Ability to work on site, including physical movement of IT equipment
Flexibility to support weekend change activity and occasional travel across sites
