They have previously tried developing junior talent for this role without success, so they are now seeking an experienced professional who can hit the ground running.
Your new role
As a Systems Analyst (Level 2), you’ll play a key role in the Customer Success function, supporting internal systems that run the business and ensuring reliability, security, and performance. You’ll work closely with developers, graduate business analysts, and support teams to resolve complex issues, manage tickets, and assist in building a robust technology environment.
Key responsibilities include administering and troubleshooting Microsoft stack technologies (MS365, Entra, Intune, Defender, Exchange, SharePoint), managing and securing endpoints across a remote workforce, investigating and resolving escalated tickets using diagnostic tools (SQL, network tools, logs), supporting internal systems and SaaS platforms with a focus on security and compliance (ISO27001 knowledge is a bonus), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and system reliability.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a system analyst within a cloud-based, cyber-secure environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (MS365, Entra, Intune, Defender, Exchange, SharePoint) and basic networking principles.
- Experience providing Level 2 technical support in a ticket-based helpdesk environment.
- Ability to debug and query SQL (not scripting).
- Exposure to working within a security framework; ISO27001 experience is highly regarded.
- Experience working for an SME environment is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
