System Administrator | Permanent role | work from home 2 days per week

Your new role

This is a hands‑on, generalist systems role suited to someone who has worked across a broad IT environment. You’ll support and maintain core infrastructure spanning servers, cloud platforms, networking and backups, while also contributing to ongoing improvements and project work. The role balances operational support with proactive system enhancement, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. The position offers flexibility, with the option to work from home two days per week.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a generalist systems or infrastructure role
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of Windows Server and Windows environments
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365, Entra ID and cloud‑based services
  • Experience with virtualisation (VMware and/or Hyper‑V)
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs)
  • Experience with backup, recovery and system monitoring
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues across servers, networks and cloud platforms
  • Comfortable documenting systems, processes and changes
