What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience translating business requirements into system specifications within agile delivery teams
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working within SAFe Agile or similar scaled delivery frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high-quality backlog items across complex programs
• Baseline security clearance (or eligibility to obtain prior to 1 July 2026)
• Australian citizenship

What you'll get in return

• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria in partnership with the Scrum team
• Collaborate with Product Owners to plan and prioritise features, ensuring backlog items are well-defined and ready for development
• Maintain backlog health including story elaboration, iteration planning and dependency identification
• Identify and extract technical and functional requirements from use cases, ensuring completeness and traceability
• Create and maintain system documentation including operational guides, UI specifications, test cases and integration details
• Support large-scale release planning by providing clarity on scope, dependencies and delivery expectations
• Evaluate options and conduct impact analysis across system change activities
• Proactively resolve impediments by facilitating communication and addressing ambiguities
• Contribute to continuous improvement through insights on process efficiency, requirement quality and team collaboration
• Ensure solutions balance functionality, quality and feasibility within delivery constraints
