Your new role
As a Desktop Support Officer, you will be responsible for delivering Level 1 and Level 2 support both face-to-face and remotely. You’ll be the go-to person for end-user technical issues, ensuring smooth operations across hardware, software, and network services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1/2 Desktop Support (Face-to-Face and Remote)
- Hardware support: desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
- Software support: Windows 11 OS and applications
- Basic network troubleshooting: Wi-Fi and VPN
- Log and manage Interactions, Incidents, and Service Requests
- Track and resolve issues in collaboration with the Global Service Desk and Resolver Teams
- Install, configure, and support end-user equipment and devices
- Coordinate with hardware service providers for warranty repairs and replacements
- Assist with minor projects including floor moves, relocations, and reshuffles
- Provide Unified Communications Support for events and townhalls (Webex, Microsoft Stream)
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a Level 1/2 IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, hardware troubleshooting, and basic networking
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Experience supporting corporate environments is highly desirable.
