Your new role


The client has an immediate requirement for an experienced IT Program Manager to lead and deliver a major Integration Program as part of onboarding and integration with another organisation.


Accountabilities


  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale IT integration program, including Day-One and post-Day-One phases.
  • Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this position will provide Integration management expertise to support the onboarding/integration with another organisation.
  • You will assess the impacts of changes associated with the integration to design, plan, implement and support the integration, aligned to their strategic priorities to prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste.


What you'll need to succeed


  • Proven experience leading large-scale organisational integrations or machinery-of-government (MoG) transitions, ideally within public sector or regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver Day-One readiness programs, balancing tight timelines with operational continuity and risk management.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional streams including Infrastructure, Identity, Applications, Security, and Business Operations.
  • Ability to establish and run integrated governance frameworks, including RAID management, executive reporting, and decision forums.
  • Experience coordinating multiple vendors and delivery partners, including contract oversight and performance management.
  • Proven capability in stakeholder management at executive level (CIO/CTO/ED), including navigating ambiguity and conflicting priorities.
  • A strong understanding of enterprise technology environments (Azure, M365, networks, identity) is sufficient to challenge and guide technical teams.
