Your new role

• Delivering Level 1 support for Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) systems, both in-person and remotely.
• Acting as the first point of contact for production system faults and ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Monitoring systems proactively to maintain consistent delivery of critical services.
• Collaborating with dispatch, control teams, vendors, and technical support to resolve issues.
• Executing planned maintenance and minor improvement works safely and efficiently.
• Managing computing hardware replacements, upgrades, and software installations.
• Raising and managing tickets in ServiceNow and SAP with detailed technical documentation.
• Supporting business continuity planning through regular checks of backup facilities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Technical aptitude in IT and/or OT systems.
• Attention to detail in incident logging and impact assessment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions.
• Familiarity with escalation processes and support tiers.
