A growing Managed Service Provider in Melbourne’s Inner North-West requires an Infrastructure Engineer for a permanent opportunity commencing immediately. Your new role

• Overseeing the performance and reliability of critical infrastructure components.
• Implementing customer-requested changes and working as a part of the project team when implementing major changes to a customer’s services.
• Conducting daily checks on backups.
• Responding to alerts and incidents and collaborating with relevant teams to reduce the impact of incidents.
• Monitoring infrastructure capacity and generating reports to provide insights.
• Acting as the primary point of escalation for any critical infrastructure incidents.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, VMware / Hyper-V, Intune and Cisco / DrayTek / Fortinet / Unifi networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• A tertiary education in Information Technology, as well as Microsoft, Azure, Cisco and Fortinet certifications are preferred.
• Previous experience working for an MSP.
• A valid driver’s licence.
