Your new role

The Internal Sales Coordinator is to service the needs of a company's existing clients, respond to new sales enquiries and to support activities of the sales team. You would be responsible for supporting the National Sales Manager, and assisting customers with general enquiries, order processing and order follow-up. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Reports, analysis of stock and allocation of orders to support customer forecasts
  • Internal Sales liaison for identified customers to improve communication and support
  • Provides order processing support to the General Manager, Mobile Cooling Solutions Australia, National Sales Manager, and Sales Executives as required.
  • Takes the lead on admin and regularly updates key trackers/reports, not limited to Promotional Icebox orders, special customer & commercial orders, and direct container programs.
  • Processing of Internal sales support forms for co-op marketing, industry/trade shows and staff orders
  • Assisting the Customer Support Team as required
  • Input, management and follow up of orders for Key Accounts (including Made to Order Programs as required; monitoring & invoicing of Direct Container Programs for Key Account Customers)
  • Ensure effective processing and prioritisation of back orders
  • Handles complaints concerning nonconforming products, and where applicable, refer complaints to the Warehouse Supervisors throughout Australia for investigation and resolution, e.g. Damage in Transit, Lost in Transit, Incorrect Supply, etc.
  • Ensures that all order processing related activities are completed in accordance with company processes and procedures
  • Maintains an acceptable standard in housekeeping.
  • Provides support at trade shows/activities on a required basis
  • Any other reasonable directives or requests by Management

What you'll need to succeed

The following skills are required for the incumbent to perform the duties of the position:
  • A minimum of 3–5 years in a customer service team position, ideally in a B2B or B2B & B2C
  • Possess a strong understanding of best practise customer service
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving & dispute resolution skills
  • Customer Service - responding promptly to customer needs; requests for service and assistance and meeting commitments.
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of staff, both internal and external to the organisation
  • Work independently as well as to participate in activities as a team member.
  • Ability to achieve results despite conflicting pressures
  • Ability to work in a harmonious manner in a high pressure environment
