Your new role
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated insurance professional to manage and grow a diverse portfolio of clients. You will be delivering tailored insurance solutions, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to business growth through retention and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing renewals, supporting claims, and identifying new opportunities within existing accounts, all while upholding high standards of service and compliance. Your main responsibilities will include
Manage a portfolio of SME and mid-market commercial clients, ensuring their insurance programs are well-structured and up-to-date
Conduct thorough risk assessments and gather underwriting information to support placement and renewal strategies
Negotiate terms and coverage with insurers to secure competitive and comprehensive solutions for clients
Prepare renewal reports, policy schedules, and supporting documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
Maintain regular contact with key clients, providing proactive advice and updates on market conditions and emerging risks
Assist clients with claims lodgement and resolution, acting as their advocate throughout the process
Identify opportunities to enhance client coverage through cross-selling and upselling relevant commercial products
Respond to new business enquiries and prepare tailored proposals for prospective clients
Collaborate with internal teams, including assistant brokers and claims staff, to ensure seamless service delivery
