Instrumentation Technician

Electrical and Instrumentation required for a major gold mining operation in WA
Join a leading mining and resources organisation known for safety, stability and long‑term career opportunities. Due to ongoing project growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join their high‑performing maintenance team. This role is offered on a long‑term contract with a genuine pathway to permanent employment.

Your new role Working on a 4:3 roster, you will carry out E&I maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting across fixed plant and associated infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing electrical and instrumentation maintenance, fault‑finding and repairs
  • Conducting testing, calibration and diagnostics of field instrumentation
  • Supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Ensuring compliance with site safety standards and statutory requirements
  • Working alongside electricians, technicians and operations personnel to maintain reliability
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Proven experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician in the mining or resources sector
  • Relevant electrical trade qualification and WA Electrical Licence
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, PLC interfaces and industrial controls
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to safe work practices
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment medicals and compliance checks
