Our Client is a government agency.

• Assess current hospital infrastructure, including storage arrays (SAN), compute hardware, and virtualisation clusters.
• Lead infrastructure design activities to determine optimal replacement or modernisation strategies (like‑for‑like vs new technology).
• Produce high‑level and low‑level infrastructure designs, including architecture diagrams, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Design resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions aligned with hospital operational and clinical requirements.
• Evaluate vendor solutions and technologies (e.g. storage platforms, hyperconverged infrastructure, server hardware).
• Work closely with IT operations, vendors, and clinical stakeholders to validate requirements and constraints.
• Ensure designs meet availability, performance, security, and compliance standards required in healthcare environments.
• Provide technical guidance during implementation, migration, and cutover phases as required.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints related to infrastructure change in a live hospital environment.

• Strong background as an Infrastructure Architect / Solutions Designer with a hardware-first focus.
• Proven expertise in enterprise storage technologies (SAN/NAS, controllers, replication, backup integration).
• Deep experience with virtualisation platforms (e.g. VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of server hardware, data centre architecture, and clustering technologies.
• Experience designing infrastructure in mission‑critical environments (healthcare, government, or similar).
• Strong capability in technology evaluation and options analysis (current state vs future state).
• Excellent technical documentation and design skills.
• Ability to communicate complex infrastructure concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholder
