Infrastructure Project Manager

Project Manager required for a 12-month contract to lead ICT infrastructure and software delivery projects!

This opportunity is with a well-established government organisation based in Perth CBD, known for its strategic influence and commitment to modernising public services through technology. As part of a broader digital uplift, the organisation is seeking multiple Project Managers to lead and deliver key ICT initiatives.

Your new role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale ICT infrastructure and software projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of ICT projects
  • Manage project scope, risks, issues, and reporting, ensuring successful delivery
  • Apply project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, or Agile
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and support change management activities
  • Ensure quality assurance and alignment with strategic objectives

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Proven experience delivering ICT infrastructure and software projects in complex environments
  • Strong skills in project planning, financial management, and stakeholder coordination
  • Familiarity with structured project management frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a dynamic environment

What you’ll get in return

You’ll receive an attractive hourly rate aligned with PSA Level 7, on a 12-month contract based in Perth CBD, with standard full-time hours (37.5 per week). This is a fantastic opportunity to lead meaningful ICT projects within a respected and forward-thinking public sector environment.
