A well-established public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Information Management Officer to join their Corporate Services team. This organisation plays a key role in delivering community-focused outcomes and is committed to best practice governance, compliance, and digital transformation.

Your new role

Reporting to the Manager Information Management, you will provide comprehensive records and information management services across the organisation. You will play a key role in ensuring compliant, efficient, and user-focused information management practices while supporting staff through training and system guidance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing electronic and physical records, including creation, distribution, storage, retrieval, and disposal
  • Administering the organisation’s EDRMS (Content Manager) to maintain information integrity and compliance
  • Delivering high-quality customer service, including training and support to users on records systems and processes
  • Supporting information governance and compliance with relevant legislation and policies
  • Coordinating and contributing to information management projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitoring and responding to enquiries via shared inboxes and allocating requests appropriately
  • Assisting with inbound and outbound mail processing and other business support activities

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience working with Content Manager (EDRMS), including administration and user support
  • Proven ability to deliver training to small groups on system functionality and processes
  • Strong understanding of data and information governance legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience in records and information management, including physical and digital records
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
