Your new role
The Sales Consultant is a vital member of the Sales team, responsible for promoting and selling a comprehensive range of solar products and services. The Solar Sales Consultant will be expected to engage with customers, build relationships, and drive the adoption of sustainable energy solutions. Some duties will include:
- Recommend and select solar products and services that align with each customer's unique needs and requirements.
- Articulate the benefits and applications of the products face to face, over the phone, and email communications.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both past and potential customers and facilitate ongoing sales opportunities.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's diverse range of solar products and services.
- Utilise data-driven insights to educate customers on how our solar solutions can help them achieve their energy goals and savings
- Accurately process and record sales transactions using our CRM and other designated systems.
- Consistently meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sales targets
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven track record in sales, with a strong ability to connect with customers and close deals. (open to junior sales)
- Knowledge of solar energy and sustainability is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and solar quoting tools.
- Driven and motivated to succeed
- Eager to learn and develop skills
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
