Hays Technology has proudly partnered with an employer. Of Choice in Brisbane to appoint a Solution Architect (Software stream) to an initial 12-month contract. This role offers 3 days' work from home a week and a strong likelihood of extension.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture or a related role, particularly in software projects. Advanced technical proficiency: In-depth knowledge of full-stack architecture layers including networking, servers, storage, application and cloud computing.
• Highly developed design skills: Ability to create scalable and resilient infrastructure designs.
• Technical Project leadership: Experience in leading projects from inception to completion.
• Proven expertise in applications and infrastructure architecture.
• Exposure to modern and emerging technologies - including AI and cloud platforms.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to move fluidly between high-level architecture and detailed design.
• A practical, principle-based approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
• A criminal history check
