We are searching for a hands-on Identity expert to own and evolve this organisation’s IAM capability across both cloud and on-prem environments. Your new role

• Lead the design, implementation, and operation of IAM solutions across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Manage AD users, groups, GPOs, service accounts, and system integrations.
• Okta Workforce Identity Ownership — Oversee Okta SSO, MFA, directory integrations, policies, and access models.
• Maintain and improve JML and lifecycle management controls aligned with HR and business workflows.
• Build and optimize Okta Workflows to automate identity lifecycle events and reduce manual effort.
• Identify and implement automation and efficiency opportunities across identity operations.
• Enforce least‑privilege access, support audits, and strengthen identity controls through monitoring and metrics.
• Partner with cybersecurity, IT, business teams, vendors, and MSPs to address identity risks and deliver IAM outcomes.
• Serve as SME for identity on technology projects and support integrations for SaaS and on‑prem applications.
• Contribute to IAM standards, procedures, and technical documentation.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience in Identity & Access Management, systems engineering, and all things IGA — with a particular passion for building identity ecosystems that actually behave themselves.
• Deep experience with Okta Workforce Identity, including Universal Directory, SSO, adaptive MFA, authentication policies, and application integrations — essentially, if it lives in Okta, I’ve probably configured it, optimised it, or tamed it.
• Designed and governed Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) processes across complex enterprise environments, ensuring identities glide smoothly through the lifecycle instead of tripping over it.
• Built and fine‑tuned Okta Workflows to automate identity processes, handle exceptions gracefully, and orchestrate tasks that humans shouldn’t have to do manually.
• Strong Active Directory engineering background, covering users, groups, GPOs, service accounts, and hybrid identity setups — the full AD jungle, navigated with confidence.
• Strong understanding of identity security principles, including least privilege, RBAC/ABAC, MFA, and zero‑trust concepts — because good security should be smart, not suffocating.
• Integrated identity platforms with HR systems like Workday, plus a wide range of SaaS and on‑prem applications, ensuring provisioning and deprovisioning happen like clockwork.
