The Oakey Beef facility, located in Queensland’s Darling Downs, is a vertically integrated operation with a strong focus on food safety, animal welfare, and continuous improvement. The site processes 1,100 grain-fed cattle daily and employs over 950 people. Since becoming part of NH Foods in 1987, Oakey Beef has grown into one of the most advanced beef processing plants in the country, supplying premium beef to domestic and global markets.

Your new role

• Lead HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, and training
• Manage and develop a diverse HR and training team
• Support EBA processes with external IR/ER consultants
• Oversee performance management and probation reviews
• Monitor HR compliance, reporting, and workforce metrics
• Contribute to workforce planning, succession, and retention strategies

What you'll need to succeed

• HR leadership experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or food processing
• Strong operational HR skills in high-volume environments
• Experience managing diverse teams and complex rosters
• Familiarity with EBAs and working with external IR/ER consultants
• Willingness to relocate to Oakey
