Your new role
In this temporary assignment, your responsibilities will include:
- Advise stakeholders on performance management and discipline, participate in meetings, and prepare correspondence.
- Deliver presentations and information sessions to the leadership team and staff on HR initiatives.
- Enhance recruitment by serving as a panel member, offering procedural guidance, managing ads, screenings, appointments, and onboarding.
- Undertake research and analysis of HR legislation, directives, and policies to provide solution focussed recommendations for HR activities.
- Support the organisation’s leadership capability, performance management, workforce planning and organisational culture agenda.
- Offer expert HR and change management advice to improve business outcomes and support corporate goals.
- Prepare accurate, professional HR documents, including business cases, briefing notes, ads, role descriptions, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain best practices by setting timeframes, tracking records, managing reports, and sharing key insights with leadership.
- Develop and update work instructions, FAQs, and processes while contributing to specialised HR projects.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Experience providing human resource management services and advice to leaders within an operational environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain working relationships with all stakeholders.
- A “C” class current driving licence.
- A relevant qualification in Human Resources or Business Management will be highly regarded but not mandatory.
