Your new role
You will lead the HSEQ and Quality function across the business. This role owns strategy, compliance, and operational delivery across sites and corporate teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain ISO certifications, 45001, 9001, and environmental systems
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation across NSW and QLD
- Lead risk management, audits, and site inspections
- Manage incident investigations, regulator engagement, and claims
- Oversee workers compensation and return to work programs
- Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs
- Drive continuous improvement across systems and controls
- Prepare reports for senior leadership and board
- Engage and influence subcontractors and stakeholders
- Travel across QLD and NSW sites
What you'll need to succeed
- Diploma or higher in WHS, Health Science, or similar
- 7+ years in HSEQ leadership within residential construction
- Strong experience with ISO 45001, 9001, and environmental systems
- Proven experience in compliance, audits, and incident management
- Knowledge of NSW and QLD WHS legislation
- Experience managing Quality systems alongside HSEQ
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across site and corporate teams
- ICAM or similar investigation training
- Audit experience or qualifications desirable
- Cert IV in Building and Construction desirable
- White Card and valid driver’s licence
