Your new company

Hays are current suppliers to key Tier 1 builders, Tier 2 builders (mainly in education & social housing space) and Tier 3 (education, government).
Projects include : Burswood Precinct, various hospital locations (Mandurah, Bunbury, Perth City), social housing/ apartments (various locations available), education (various locations available), entertainment & hospitality.

Your new role

• As a qualified Cert IV HSEQ advisor with previous construction experience, you will use your skills and knowledge to support the on-site construction team.

• Engage, mentor and support construction workers to ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures are followed.
• Assist with incident, accident and injury procedures, including back to work and workers' compensation processing.
• Contribute to HSE management systems
• Provide guidance and leadership within internal and external audits
• Provide Toolbox talks, pre-starts, inspections, observations, support SWMS and all other HSEQ procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

• Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety essential
• At least 1 year's experience as a HSEQ advisor within the commercial construction industry is essential.
• ICAM incident investigation or similar is desirable.
• Knowledge of WA legislation is essential
• Strong commercial construction experience within apartments, healthcare, education or similar
