HAYS have partnered with a respected builder with a strong pipeline of work across QLD. This is a rare opportunity to step into a key safety role on a residential aged care project in Brisbane QLD.

Your new role

As the Health, Safety & Environmental Adviser, you will be embedded within the site team, driving a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance across all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management.

• Deliver and document site inductions and toolbox talks
• Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to WHS procedures
• Liaise with site representatives and report to the project team
• Motivate teams and contractors to uphold safety standards
• Assist in maintaining and improving on-site OHS practices

What you'll need to succeed

• Cert IV in WHS (mandatory)

• Minimum 3 years' experience in similar roles within construction

• White Card and valid Driver's Licence

• First Aid & CPR certification (desirable)

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Safety and/or training qualifications highly regarded
