The firm specialises in corporate and commercial advisory work, finance and property transactions, M&A, and commercial litigation. In terms of people, the firm has around 50 employees and an excellent tenure, which is reflective of expert knowledge and personalised client services.
Your new role
As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, learning & development, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. This is a standalone, part-time role (no more than 3 days per week) based in a central Sydney office, working closely with the payroll manager, finance manager, and the firm's founder. This position is ideal for a mid-level HR Manager returning to the workforce seeking a work/life balance or an HR Generalist looking to step up.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, training, and performance management
- Knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations
- Ability to update and implement various HR policies and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Experience in a legal or professional services firm is a plus
