Your new company is a well-established, Australian-owned steel manufacturer with over 100 years in the industry. With multiple sites nationwide, they’re known for delivering quality products on time. The Queanbeyan team is tight-knit, hardworking, and values safety, reliability and getting the job done right. Due to ongoing demand, they’re looking for a dependable Truck Driver to jump on board.

Your new role

You’ll be out on the road and hands-on, keeping things moving between the yard and customer sites. Your day-to-day will include:

• Driving the truck to various local sites to complete deliveries
• Operating a Hiab (crane truck) to load and unload steel safely on site
• Strapping, securing loads and ensuring safe transport
• Basic truck upkeep and pre-start checks
• Dealing directly with customers on site
• Working in the factory when required (picking, prepping orders, general labouring)

What you'll need to succeed

To hit the ground running, you’ll need:

• HC truck licence with recent driving experience
• Hiab (CV) ticket and experience – or willingness to get qualified
• White Card, Asbestos Awareness & Silica Awareness
• Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
• Confidence dealing with customers on site

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am start – with overtime available
